As a community advocate, coach, and facilitator—with a passion for supporting the growth and impact of organizations and groups—Carolina has been working for nonprofit causes for over 28 years. Always a student of organizational systems and dynamics, Carolina’s curiosity about the role that organizations play in social change has led her to hold a variety of roles throughout her nonprofit career, including fundraiser, executive director, board member, and now consultant and coach. Working to support community-based initiatives and grassroots elected officials is how she began her career. The daughter of immigrants from Mexico and Honduras, Carolina grew up in Los Angeles surrounded by the a strong sense of responsibility to give back to her community and to her family through hard work and a commitment for improvement.
Key coaching themes:
Leadership Coaching: Growth in our professional lives is supported by how we recognize our unique qualities and in seeing the areas that we want to intentionally focus on.
Performance in Teams and Groups: Building trust and fostering authenticity in collaborative settings.
When Carolina isn’t coaching, she is designing and facilitating dialogue sessions, planning and decision-making meetings, as well as consulting on general nonprofit operations and growth.
