ACE Coach Training Program Students & Graduates
Academy for Coaching Excellence (ACE) is a Level 2 Coach Training Program that has been accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) since 2002. ACE students undergo rigorous training and mentorship including 6 levels of coaching skill observations by trained PCC (Professional Certified Coach) assessors. ACE exceeds all ICF training and mentorship requirements for the PCC credential, with 169 accredited coach training hours, an average of 36 private mentorship hours, and at least 125 client coaching hours.
ACE Coach Certification Levels:
Level 1 Student Coach: Has completed at least 169 hours of ICF accredited coach training, 12 hours of mentor coaching, and has passed a level 1 skill evaluation by a trained PCC assessor.
Level 2 Student Coach: Has completed at least 169 hours of ICF accredited coach training, 12+ hours of mentor coaching, 25+ client coaching hours, and has passed a level 2 skill evaluation by a trained PCC assessor.
Level 3 Student Coach: Has completed at least 169 hours of ICF accredited coach training, 14+ hours of mentor coaching, 50+ client coaching hours, and has passed a level 3 skill evaluation by a trained PCC assessor.
Level 4 Student Coach: Has completed at least 169 hours of ICF accredited coach training, 16+ hours of mentor coaching, 60+ client coaching hours, and has passed a level 4 skill evaluation by a trained PCC assessor.
Level 5 Student Coach: Has completed at least 169 hours of ICF accredited coach training, 18+ hours of mentor coaching, 80+ client coaching hours, and has passed a level 5 skill evaluation by a trained PCC assessor.
Certified ACE Coach: Has completed at least 169 hours of ICF accredited coach training, 18+ hours of mentor coaching, 125+ client coaching hours, and has passed a level 6 skill evaluation by a trained PCC assessor. ACE Coaches have demonstrated the coaching competencies at the PCC level, as determined by the ICF.
ICF Credentialed Coaches
All graduates of the Academy for Coaching Excellence (ACE) are eligible to apply for credentials with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the most widely recognized coaching accreditation body worldwide.
There are three levels of internationally recognized ICF Credentials:
Associate Certified Coach (ACC)
Professional Certified Coach (PCC)
Master Certified Coach (MCC)

ACE certified coaches are trained and assessed at the PCC competency level, and are therefore eligible for the PCC credential as soon as they log the 500 client hours required by ICF.
ACE Licensed Academy Trainers
ACE Licensed Academy Trainers have undergone the highest level of training at the Academy for Coaching Excellence. In addition to being Certified ACE Coaches, they have undergone rigorous training to teach many elements of the ACE Being Coach framework to public groups, as well as professional teams and organizations.
